Explore the Biedouw Valley on Two Wheels
About This Activity
Enjo Nature Farm and the surrounding Biedouw Valley offer special cycling experiences with its quiet gravel roads, stunning mountain scenery, and diverse terrain.. The farm’s rugged terrain provides challenging off-road trails, while the valley’s gravel roads offer scenic routes with minimal traffic. Bring your own bikes and explore at your own pace.
We regularly host cycling groups, particularly during the spring months when wildflowers carpet the landscape and early summer when weather conditions are ideal. Several organised cycling tours make Enjo a stopover on their Cederberg routes (hopefully appreciating both our comfortable accommodations and the valley’s cycling-friendly environment!)
For visitors staying at Enjo, bringing your bicycles along is highly recommended. The valley road sees very little traffic, making it safe and enjoyable for casual rides. You can travel in either direction from the farm:
The main valley road extends approximately 40km from end to end, making it perfect for rides of various lengths. For those seeking longer adventures, connecting routes can take you toward Clanwilliam, Wupperthal, or other parts of the Cederberg region.
We’re happy to provide local knowledge and route suggestions based on your cycling ability and interests. Just ask at reception when you arrive.
