Sweet Thorn Cottage

Sweet Thorn Cottage (formerly Enjo Cottage) is situated along our seasonal river which runs from May to December. Located in a private and secluded spot, this charming cottage offers beautiful mountain views and excellent stargazing opportunities.

This recently refurbished traditional Cape Dutch style shepherd house sleeps up to 4 people with a comfy queen-sized bed on the ground floor and 2 singles in the hayloft which is reachable by traditional hayloft ladder. The cottage is fully equipped with linens, towels, crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans.

The kitchenette has a bar fridge, a 2-plate cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all essential cooking equipment. Hot water is provided by a solar geyser with electrical backup.

For your comfort and enjoyment, there’s an indoor fireplace perfect for cooler evenings, an outside braai area, a fire pit, and a patio with a daybed for relaxing. Enjoy uninterrupted, peaceful river and mountain views from your cottage, with some of the best stargazing in the Cederberg.
