This cottage is located in a remote and private area at the base of a large kloof (Oskloof) on our farm.

It is 1.5 kilometers from our farmhouse and the other guest cottages and is accessible via a gravel road, which, while passable for all vehicles, is better suited for 4x4s and high-clearance 2-wheel drives.

The cottage has no mains electricity; power for the lights and under-counter fridge is supplied by solar panels and a battery. Hot water is provided by a solar geyser, and cooking is done on a gas-powered, two-burner hotplate. There’s also an outdoor fire pit for braais.

Behind the cottage, there is a small splash pool, perfect for cooling down in summer.

The cottage features a wooden loft under the thatched roof with two single beds, accessed by a ladder. On the ground floor, there is a separate bedroom with a queen bed.

There is a compact and cozy cooking and sitting area with a fireplace—perfect for colder winter evenings.

A small stream runs nearby, flowing most winters.
