Our pet policy describes dogs, cats, and birds only. For all other pets, please contact us.
Pets stay free at Enjo, two pets only per cottage and campsite.
We can only accept dogs and cats that have been neutered/spayed at Enjo Nature Farm.
We will consider more than two pets subject to prior approval at an additional charge of R25 per pet, per day, as well as an additional cleaning charge.
Please do not bring more than 2 pets to Enjo without our consent.
Please call us if you want to bring your cat or bird to Enjo.
If you have a dog that struggles socially or a dog that is reactive, please give us a call. Do not worry, we have options for you too.
The Cabin is the only cottage surrounded by a fence. All other cottages and campsites are not fenced.
Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds at any time. We do understand that this is not always easy to manage, please bring throws and spare towels to cover soft furnishings.
We do not provide pet bedding or bowls.
We take no responsibility or liability for any guest pets or pet injuries.
Your dogs can roam free without a leash at Enjo, but they may not roam the farm alone and unsupervised at any time or be off the lead where there is livestock or horses.
When dogs must be on a lead:
It is your responsibility to ensure that livestock, horses, chickens, and wildlife are not chased, injured, or killed.
We will do our best to assist in the safeguarding of livestock, horses, and chickens by moving them if we feel it is necessary.
You may be held liable for costs should your animal injure livestock or other pets on our farm or neighbouring farms.
Dog waste must be picked up around all cottages, campsites, communal areas, swimming dam, and in the farmhouse garden.
Not all guests love your dog as much as you do. Please respect the space of other guests.
Enjo is a working farm and unlike a city or urban environment, your pets may behave differently here. We ask that you adjust your expectations and be prepared for changes in your pet’s behaviour and habits in a farm setting.
We do reserve the right to cancel your booking without a refund should our pet policy not be upheld.
